Description

The SmallRig 6029 "Rhinoceros" Cage for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV is a protective cage designed for building professional video shooting setups. In addition to protecting the camera body, it provides multiple accessory mounting points and facilitates working with tripods, gimbals, and various stabilization systems.

SmallRig 6029 "Rhinoceros" Cage for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV uses a three-point fixation system, which includes a bottom positioning pin, a 1/4"-20 screw, and an M2.5 fixation screw on the left side. This system prevents the camera from twisting when using heavier lenses or additional accessories, while not requiring the removal of the factory strap rings.

The cage is designed with precise openings that provide free access to all buttons, control wheels, connectors and the battery compartment without the need to disassemble it. Internal protective inserts protect the camera body from scratches during installation and daily use.

To expand the configuration, SmallRig 6029 features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threads, ARRI 3/8"-16 positioning holes, Cold Shoe sockets, NATO rail, and QD connector. This allows for the installation of top and side handles, external monitors, LED lights, wireless microphones, magic arms, and other accessories according to the specific needs of the shooting process.

An Arca-Swiss quick-release base is integrated at the bottom, allowing direct mounting on Arca-system tripods and compatible DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3 Mini, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4 Mini, RS 4 and RS 4 Pro gimbals. Additional comfort when shooting handheld is provided by the opening battery compartment cover, which serves as a support for the little finger and improves grip stability when working with compact mirrorless cameras.
