The SmallRig 5864 T99 V-Mount Battery / Power Bank is a V-Mount battery designed for professional photo and video equipment where reliable power supply is essential. With a capacity of 98.9 Wh, it is suitable for mirrorless and cinema cameras, video monitors, LED lighting, wireless video transmission systems, follow focus devices, laptops and mobile devices. Thanks to its compact size, the battery can be easily integrated into both mobile shooting configurations and more complex studio setups.
One of its main advantages is the variety of power interfaces. In addition to the standard V-Mount (BP) connector, the battery has three D-Tap ports , which allow simultaneous powering of several professional accessories. The two USB-C ports with support for 100W Power Delivery can be used both to power laptops, tablets and smartphones, and to quickly charge the battery itself. The presence of a USB-A port complements the capabilities of working with a wider range of devices, without the need for additional adapters.
When working in the field, the durability of the equipment is often as important as its capacity. That's why the SmallRig 5864 T99 V-Mount Battery / Power Bank uses a metal construction with an external TPU coating to protect the internal components during daily use. The battery meets the IP54 standard, which provides protection against dust and splashes of water, and the structure is designed to withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 meters . This allows it to be used when shooting outdoors, in dusty environments, or in adverse weather conditions.
To ensure reliable operation under high load, the internal structure uses LG lithium-ion cells , combined with an intelligent battery management system ( BMS ). It constantly monitors the condition of the cells and provides protection against overheating, overload, overvoltage, short circuit, overcharging and overdischarging. Additionally, a heat dissipation system with graphene and thermal conductive material is integrated, which supports effective cooling during charging and high power consumption.
Practicality is complemented by 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads that allow the battery to be fixed to various rigs, cages, stands and mounting systems. The built-in backlight makes it easy to insert and connect the battery when working in low-light shooting conditions, which is especially useful for night shots, concert productions and field work.
