The compact DJI Osmo Action 6 action camera shoots UHD 4K video at up to 120 frames per second and features a new large 1/1.1" sensor, a variable aperture lens, two displays, and 50GB of built-in memory.
The model provides up to 4 hours of continuous shooting on a single charge, is waterproof up to 20 meters without an additional case, and offers excellent stabilization and multiple automatic modes for impressive video.

The camcorder also uses technologies familiar from the Osmo Action 5 Pro, such as object tracking at 2.7K and FHD, SuperNight mode for improved video in low light, 10-bit D-Log M for more options in post-production, and more.
Larger sensor
The Osmo Action 6's new square sensor provides a significantly larger area than standard 1/1.1" sensors and captures more light. This ensures true 4:3 shooting with excellent detail, and the 4K Custom mode allows for easy reframing for social media.
Combined with 10-bit D-Log M, the new sensor delivers up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range.
Variable aperture
For the first time, DJI Action cameras feature a variable f/2 or f/4 lens aperture for better performance in different lighting conditions and greater creative freedom. This allows for control over depth of field and exposure:
open aperture for more light and shallower depth of field;
closed for greater sharpness in dynamic scenes and better quality on bright sunny days
This is one of the most significant differences compared to older models that relied on a fixed lens aperture. The minimum focusing distance is now just 20cm for super impressive close-ups.
Practicality and more freedom when shooting
The built-in 50GB memory provides comfort when shooting long clips, and microSD card support provides additional space. The battery is large in capacity and is backward compatible, which is a huge plus for those switching to the DJI Osmo Action 6 from the Osmo Action 5 Pro or 4.
