Description
The Godox KNOWLED AD33 K2 Electric Adjustable Diffusion Panel is an electronically adjustable diffusion panel with a working area of 101 × 105 cm, designed for cinema, television productions, video shooting and professional photography. Unlike standard diffusion frames, the model allows electronic adjustment of the degree of diffusion in real time, without the need to change different diffusion materials. The panel supports two operating modes, Diffusion Level (0–100%) and Light Reduction (-0.1 to -2.0 EV), control via DMX/RDM, CRMX, Bluetooth and controller, work with USB-C, NP-F and V-Mount power supplies, as well as IP54 protection, which makes it suitable for both studio and field work.
The main function of the panel is the ability to change the character of the light in real time from a harder directional lighting to a highly softened and evenly diffused light, without the need to change diffusion cloths. This allows for significantly faster work on set and more precise control over lighting.
The system offers two control modes. Diffusion Level Mode allows direct adjustment of diffusion from 0 to 100%, while Light Reduction Mode operates in a range of -0.1 to -2.0 EV, facilitating integration of the panel into professional lighting schemes and ensuring more precise exposure matching with other light sources.
Control can be done directly from the controller, via DMX or wirelessly via the Godox Light App via Bluetooth. Depending on the chosen configuration, the panel is available with a standard controller or a version with CRMX for professional wireless control. The standard controller uses NP-F batteries, while the CRMX version works with V-Mount batteries.
The design includes a foldable frame and a removable diffusion panel, which is attached via a Velcro system for quick assembly and disassembly. Thanks to the IP54 protection, the device is resistant to dust and water splashes, which allows its use both in the studio and when working outdoors. When powered by a 100Wh battery, the system can operate for up to 20 hours, providing sufficient autonomy for all-day shooting sessions.
