Description
The SmallRig 5152 Cooling Fan for Sony Cameras is an active cooling system for select Sony cameras, designed to maintain optimal operating temperatures during extended video shooting, streaming, and high-resolution work. It helps reduce the risk of overheating and allows for longer shooting sessions without unwanted interruptions.
The compact design allows for use both handheld and in more complex shooting configurations with gimbals, cages, and tripods.
Intelligent cooling according to the specific situation
The system offers two operating modes that can be selected according to shooting conditions and camera load.
In standard mode, the fan operates at up to 4,500 rpm and produces a noise level of less than 40 dB, making it suitable for everyday shooting tasks. Under more intensive loads, the boost mode increases the speed to 7,000 rpm and ensures maximum efficiency at a noise level of less than 50 dB.
Cooling is achieved through TEC technology, which ensures effective heat dissipation without significantly increasing the size of the device.
Quick installation and maximum flexibility
The spring-loaded snap-in mechanism allows for quick attachment and removal of the cooling module, while maintaining free access to the camera's LCD screen.
The system can be used both independently and in combination with a cage, which provides flexibility in building different shooting configurations.
For greater autonomy, the cooling module is compatible with the V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit 4505, 4064, and 4063, as well as the SmallRig batteries 3579, 3580, and 4292.
Important for use
The device does not have a built-in battery and requires external power via USB-C for normal operation.
For optimal performance, do not block the air vents during operation and avoid using the device in humid environments.
