The SmallRig 5063 Cooling Fan for Canon EOS R5 / R5 Mark II is an active cooling system for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II and Canon EOS R5, designed to reduce the risk of overheating during continuous 4K and 8K video shooting, streaming, and operating in high ambient temperature conditions. The compact design helps maintain optimal operating temperature and ensures longer shooting sessions without unwanted interruptions.
Thanks to the included mounting adapter, the system can also be used with select Sony mirrorless camera models, making it a flexible solution for content creators and professional videographers.
Efficient cooling with two operating modes
The cooling system uses TEC technology for effective heat dissipation and offers two operating modes according to specific shooting conditions.
Low mode provides a balance between performance and low noise, with the fan running at up to 4,500 rpm and noise levels below 40 dB. Under heavy load, high mode increases the speed to 7,000 rpm, providing maximum efficiency with noise levels below 50 dB.
Quick installation and ease of use
The spring-loaded snap-on mechanism allows for quick attachment and removal of the cooling module without the need for tools. The design provides easy access to the camera's LCD screen without restricting its use.
For greater autonomy, the model is compatible with the SmallRig V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit 4063 and 4064, as well as the SmallRig V-Mount batteries 3579, 4608, and 4292.
