Description
The NiSi Wide Conversion Lens Kit for Ricoh GR IV is a set that includes a wide-angle conversion lens with a factor of 0.78x and a 49 mm filter adapter, designed specifically for the Ricoh GR IV. The converter reduces the effective focal length of the built-in 18.3 mm lens to approximately 14 mm (equivalent to approximately 21 mm on a full-frame camera), providing a significantly wider angle of view. The kit retains Macro mode, supports 49 mm photographic filters, uses a multi-layer anti-reflective nano coating, and does not affect the operation of autofocus, exposure metering, or other functions of the camera.
One of the main advantages of the kit is full compatibility with the Ricoh GR IV's Macro mode. This allows for close-up shooting without the need to remove the wide-angle converter, making it easier to work in dynamic shooting situations.
The optical elements are treated with a multi-layer anti-reflective nano coating that reduces internal reflections, flare, and ghosting when shooting against backlight or strong light sources. This helps to achieve higher contrast, better color reproduction, and a cleaner image.
The included NiSi 49 mm Filter Adapter adds a standard 49 mm thread, compatible with ND, CPL, UV and effect filters, as well as step-up rings. Filters can remain attached even when the lens is retracted, providing greater convenience when working. The adapter and converter lens body is made of aluminum alloy, and the kit includes metal front and rear caps to protect the optics during transportation.
