The SmallRig 4159 Cage For Canon R6 MKII is a protective cage designed specifically for the Canon EOS R6 Mark II, providing additional body protection and greatly expanding accessory mounting options. It is designed for photographers, videographers, and content creators who use the camera in more complex shooting configurations and need a reliable platform for attaching additional equipment.
Made of high-quality aluminum, the cage combines a low weight of just 172g with a robust construction capable of withstanding intensive daily use both in the studio and on location.
The cage features multiple mounting points with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, allowing for the installation of external monitors, microphones, LED lighting, handles, wireless systems, and other accessories. ARRI anti-twist mounting holes are also available, which prevent unwanted rotation of mounted equipment and ensure more stable operation in professional shooting configurations.
An integrated cold shoe mount is located on the top for quick mounting of a microphone or wireless receiver, and the side NATO rail allows for easy addition of side handles and other compatible accessories.
The design is precisely tailored to the shape of the Canon EOS R6 Mark II and provides free access to the buttons, display, battery, memory cards and all main connectors. This allows the camera to be used without restrictions even with the cage installed.
