The Blackmagic Mini Converter SDI Distribution is a professional SDI distribution solution designed for situations where a single video signal needs to be sent to multiple devices simultaneously. This makes it ideal for broadcast studios, control rooms, video productions, streaming systems and live events where simultaneous powering of monitors, recorders, video mixers and other equipment is required.
The device accepts one SDI input and distributes it to eight independent SDI outputs, each of which reproduces an identical signal without quality degradation.
The converter automatically detects the input signal and switches between SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI standards without the need for manual settings. This facilitates integration into different work environments and allows for quick integration into existing infrastructure.
Popular video formats such as NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i, 1080PsF, 1080p, 2K and 2K PsF are supported, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of professional equipment.
Built-in SDI re-clocking technology restores and stabilizes the digital signal before distributing it to the outputs. This reduces the risk of transmission errors, improves connection reliability and allows the use of longer cable runs in professional installations.
Mini Converter SDI Distribution supports both 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 video sampling, ensuring that the quality of the original signal is preserved. The device works with YUV and RGB color spaces and supports embedded SDI audio with a sampling rate of 48 kHz and 24-bit depth.

Thanks to its compact design and universal power supply, the Mini Converter SDI Distribution can be easily integrated into both stationary studio systems and mobile production facilities.
