The SmallRig 4851 Wireless Video Monitor for Phone Vlog Kit is a wireless monitoring kit for smartphone shooting, including a wireless monitor, phone bracket, mini tripod, remote control, and mounting accessories. The system is designed for vlog content, livestream, mobile video shooting, and solo productions, allowing for real-time image monitoring directly from the phone's camera. This makes it easy to shoot with the rear camera, selfie video, and content creation without the need for a second operator.
The monitor supports wireless connection via Wi-Fi Direct and allows real-time image transfer with a range of up to 10 meters. The system supports mirroring when working with the rear camera of the smartphone, which is especially useful for vlog, TikTok, YouTube, livestream and mobile productions.
The kit includes a smartphone adapter/holder and a wireless monitor, and the monitor can be mounted either via the included stand or magnetically to compatible smartphones. MagSafe compatibility allows for quick and convenient attachment to iPhone 12 and later models, as well as to other devices via a magnetic ring.
SmallRig 4851 offers a standard 1/4"-20 thread and cold shoe mount on the bracket for additional accessories such as microphones, LED lights, handles or stands. The included mini tripod allows for more stable positioning on a desk, table or other flat surface and is convenient for both shooting and livestreaming and video calling.
The monitor's built-in battery provides up to 3 hours of operation on a single charge, making it suitable for mobile shooting, travel content, and field work. A cable for charging the monitor is included in the kit.
The system also includes a wireless remote control for the smartphone camera, allowing you to start and control recording remotely. This makes it easier to shoot solo and work on vlog and livestream content.
