The Insta360 Mic Pro (2 TX + 1 RX) is a professional wireless microphone system for content creators, interviews, podcasts, video production and live broadcasts. The set includes two transmitters, one receiver and a charging case, offering 32-bit float internal recording, 32 GB of built-in memory, intelligent noise cancellation with artificial intelligence and a three-capsule microphone system with four directivity modes. The receiver features a USB-C connection for direct connection to smartphones, tablets and compatible devices, and the system also supports direct Bluetooth connection to the Insta360 X5, X4 Air, Ace Pro 2 and GO Ultra without the need for a receiver. The Mic Pro offers a wireless range of up to 400 meters, 48 kHz audio recording, timecode synchronization and up to 30 hours of battery life with the included case.
32-bit float internal record
Insta360 Mic Pro supports 32-bit float internal recording directly in the transmitter, which provides significantly greater dynamic range and higher security when recording audio. This allows for the recovery of signals that are too quiet or too loud during processing without the risk of irreversible distortion. The system also supports standard 24-bit recording depending on the specific workflow.
32 GB built-in memory
Each transmitter has 32 GB of built-in memory for internal recording. This allows the system to be used as a standalone audio recorder without the need for an external device. Up to 60 hours of 24-bit mono recording or up to 44.8 hours of 32-bit mono recording is possible directly to the transmitter's memory.
Support for multi-camera configurations
Mic Pro supports configurations with up to 4 transmitters and 1 receiver for multi-person recordings, as well as configurations with 2 transmitters and 4 receivers for multi-camera work. This allows the system to be upgraded according to the needs of a specific production.
Three-capsule microphone system
The Mic Pro uses a three-capsule design that provides wider and more natural sound coverage than standard compact wireless microphones. This allows for more freedom in microphone positioning and more consistent sound during movement, interviews, and dynamic video recording.
Four directivity modes
The system offers four polar patterns—omnidirectional, super-directional, cardioid, and figure-of-eight—to adapt to a variety of shooting situations, such as vlogs, interviews, live broadcasts, ASMR, and one-on-one conversations.
Customizable E-Ink display
The transmitters feature a customizable E-Ink display that allows for the addition of images, logos, and graphics via the Insta360 app. The display remains clearly visible in direct sunlight and retains the image even when the device is turned off.
Intelligent noise cancellation with artificial intelligence
Mic Pro uses a dedicated intelligent noise cancellation processor that reduces unwanted noises such as wind, traffic and ambient noise. This helps to record clearer voices and reduces the need for additional audio processing.
USB-C connection for mobile devices
The receiver features USB-C connectivity for direct connection to smartphones, tablets and other compatible devices. This enables faster setup for shooting and facilitates a mobile workflow for social media content and smartphone video capture.
Direct connection to Insta360 cameras
The Mic Pro can connect directly to the Insta360 X5, X4 Air, Ace Pro 2, and GO Ultra via Bluetooth without the need for an external receiver. This allows for direct 48 kHz audio recording to the camera and a more compact shooting setup.
Timecode synchronization
The system supports timecode synchronization with frame rates up to 60 frames per second, facilitating work in multi-camera productions and professional editing. The deviation is less than one frame over a 24-hour period.
Wireless range up to 400 meters
Mic Pro offers a maximum wireless range of up to 400 meters in a line-of-sight, interference-free environment, providing greater freedom for outdoor shooting, interviews, events, and mobile productions.
Long battery life
The transmitters provide up to 10 hours of operation and the receiver up to 11 hours on a single charge. The included case extends the autonomy to 30 hours and allows for a full charge of both the transmitter and receiver approximately twice. Fast charging is also supported, with 5 minutes of charging providing up to 1.5 hours of operation.
