The Profoto Clic Softbox Octa 70 cm is a compact octagonal softbox designed to create softer, more even and controlled light when working with Profoto A-Series and Profoto C1 flashes. Thanks to the characteristic octagonal shape, the light is distributed smoothly and creates natural eye glare in portrait photography.
With a diameter of 70 cm, the softbox provides a significantly larger illuminating surface compared to a flash without a modifier. This allows for softening of shadows, smoother transitions between light and dark areas, and more natural lighting of the subject.
Designed to attach directly to Profoto A-Series and Profoto C1 flashes without the need for speed rings, adapters or additional mounting systems, this simplifies lighting setup and allows for fast work both in the studio and on location.
The interior of the softbox is white-coated, ensuring even light distribution and natural color reproduction. The built-in internal diffuser further softens the light and helps create smoother transitions between highlighted and shadowed areas.
The Profoto Clic Softbox Octa 70 cm supports the use of honeycomb filters, which are available separately. They allow for more precise control over the spread of light and limit scattering outside the desired area.
The softbox features a foldable design that makes it easy to transport and store. This makes it suitable for both studio work and mobile photo shoots and shooting at various locations.
