The Atomos Sumo Pro-19 monitor is a high-end 19-inch HDR monitor-recorder, combining precision monitoring and professional recording in one device. It features an IPS touch display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, a brightness of 1200 nits and support for 1.07 billion colors, covering 100% Rec.709 and 99% DCI-P3, making it extremely suitable for working with HDR content and color correction directly on set.

The device supports a wide range of inputs and outputs, including 2x 12G-SDI inputs, 2x 3G-SDI inputs, 12G-SDI output, HDMI 2.0 input/output and USB-C, allowing for work with a variety of cameras and signal configurations. Bi-directional conversion between SDI and HDMI is also possible, greatly facilitating integration into complex production environments. Up to 12 channels of embedded audio via SDI and 8 channels via HDMI are supported, as well as professional XLR inputs and outputs with +48V phantom power.
The Atomos Sumo Pro-19 records directly to CFexpress Type B media and offers broad compatibility with codecs such as ProRes (422, HQ, LT, 4444, RAW), DNxHD/DNxHR and H.265, with the ability to record up to 4K at 60 fps, as well as RAW formats up to 8K at 30 fps. It also supports high frame rates of up to 240 fps at 2K and up to 120 fps at Full HD, making it suitable for slow-motion and dynamic scenes. There is also a pre-roll recording function of up to 8 seconds in Full HD and 2 seconds in 4K.
For precise image control, professional tools such as waveform, vectorscope, RGB parade, focus peaking, zebra, false color and anamorphic de-squeeze are available. LUT tables are supported, allowing visualization of the final look of the frame even during shooting.
Additional interfaces include timecode (BNC), LANC control, Gigabit Ethernet, as well as Wi-Fi 6E connectivity for future integration and networking features. The device offers multiple mounting points (VESA 100x100 and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads), allowing for easy integration into rigs, stands, and studio configurations.
The SUMO PRO-19 is powered via an XLR input (4-pin) and consumes approximately 75W, with an aluminum and plastic housing ensuring durability and reliability under heavy use. Weighing in at 7.1 kg and measuring 47.4 x 31.5 x 6.2 cm, it is a robust solution for professional productions where quality and control are paramount.
