Samyang AF 35mm f/1.8 P lens is a compact and modern autofocus lens for Sony FE mount, designed for full-frame cameras and everyday work with high image quality. With a maximum aperture of f/1.8 and a versatile focal length of 35 mm, it is an excellent choice for street photography, portraits, video and travel. The optical construction includes 10 elements in 8 groups, complemented by special ASP and XHR elements and UMC II coating, which provide high sharpness, contrast and minimal aberrations.
The lens uses a linear STM II motor, which offers fast, quiet and precise autofocus, suitable for both stills and video. There is also an AF/MF switch for quick mode switching. The minimum focusing distance of 27 cm and 0.19x magnification allow for more creative close-up shots, while the 9-blade diaphragm creates soft and pleasant bokeh. The angle of view is 63.6° on full-frame and 43.8° on APS-C, making it versatile in a variety of situations.
The compact body weighing 216g and measuring 71.5mm in length makes it ideal for on-the-go work. The lens is weather-sealed, making it a reliable choice for a variety of shooting conditions. The front filter diameter of Ø62mm allows the use of standard filters.
