Canon RF 800mm f / 5.6L IS USM is a super telephoto lens for the full-size Canon EOS R series cameras, which is used in journalism, wildlife and sports photography.
The stabilization of the Canon RF 800mm f / 5.6L IS USM compensates up to 4.5 steps to allow manual shooting.
The optical design of the lens is borrowed from the brand's previous telephoto lenses and includes two fluorite elements , one Super Ultra Low-Dispersion (UD) and one UD element, which virtually eliminates chromatic aberrations and allows for exceptional clarity and accurate color reproduction in the image. The rounded diaphragm with 9 lamellas provides a smooth and pleasant bokeh, and the coatings of the Super Spectra and Air Sphere lenses minimize ghosts and glare in adverse lighting conditions.
The Canon RF 800mm f / 5.6L IS USM offers fast, quiet and precise autofocus with two settings for storing and quickly returning to selected focusing distances. Electronic ring allows the use of 3 different speeds for manual focusing.
The housing is resistant to dust and moisture and is equipped with a removable tripod collar.
