Description
The DJI Power 500 Portable Charging Station is a compact and reliable portable charging station with a capacity of 512 Wh, providing a maximum output power of 1000 W.
There are 7 ports available to power a variety of devices - from coffee makers, fans and refrigerators, to drones, laptops, cameras and more. Two bi-directional USB-C ports support PD 3.0 fast charging and can simultaneously recharge the charging station with a maximum of 200 W of power or provide a separate 100 W of power to devices such as cameras, phones and laptops. The Power 500 also offers two more USB-A ports (24 W each), 2 AC sockets and one SDC Lite port.
Using optional cables, you can quickly charge select DJI drone batteries with the DJI Power SDC super-fast charging feature, taking around 30 minutes depending on the model. With three batteries and the DJI Power 500, you can enjoy a full day of worry-free flying.
The Power 500 can be charged in 4 ways: mains, USB-C, solar and car. When connected to the mains, the charging station supports both 540W fast charging mode and 270W standard mode, with a minimum recharge time of 70 minutes. The DJI Power 500 can also be connected to solar panels via the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) or the DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable. MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is an intelligent algorithm that supports real-time monitoring of the voltage generated by the connected solar panels. The DJI Power 500 supports a maximum solar input power of 300W and can be fully charged in approximately 1.8 to 4 hours. To recharge from a car, you will need the DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable (12V/24V) module, and through the two USB-C ports with a total power of 200W, it will take about three hours to fully charge.
The Power 500 can also be used as a UPS. When an electrical device is connected to it (via the AC output port) and both are receiving power from the mains, the DJI Power 500 defaults to UPS mode. In the event of a sudden power outage, the charging station can start powering the connected device(s) within 0.02 seconds, ensuring continuous operation.
Safety is always our top priority. From the housing and cell chemistry to the system software, the DJI Power 500 ensures trouble-free use. It has passed numerous tests and received 26 certifications from SGS Switzerland. Specific safety features of the Power 500 include:
- Intelligent Battery Management System (BMS): If the built-in safe charging indicators are exceeded, the BMS will automatically shut down the charging station and restart it automatically when the power condition returns to normal.
- Temperature Sensors: 11 temperature sensors continuously monitor heat dissipation, maintaining efficient charging even at 40°C.
- Power failure protection: 10 fuses provide short circuit protection.
The noise level of the DJI Power 500 is only 23 dB during recharging, which is lower than most household refrigerators, ensuring the absence of noise interference.
