The IK Multimedia iLoud Precision 5 MKII active studio monitor is an active two-way studio monitor designed for precise sound and professional studio work, offering 135 W RMS power, a 5" speaker and a 1.5" high-frequency driver, as well as an extended frequency range up to 35 Hz. The set includes two monitors and a measurement microphone for automatic calibration, which allows optimizing the sound to the acoustics of the room. Thanks to built-in DSP, phase adjustment and filters, the model provides extremely accurate and balanced sound.
The iLoud Precision 5 MKII is designed for music producers, engineers and professionals who demand the utmost precision in mixing and mastering. The two-way design combines a 5-inch paper cone woofer and a 1.5-inch dome tweeter, providing detailed sound in both the low and high frequencies.
The system features powerful amplification (110 W LF + 25 W HF Class-D), which provides sufficient headroom and a maximum sound pressure of up to 106.5 dB. This allows operation in both small and larger studio spaces.
One of the key features is the ability to automatically calibrate the sound using the included microphone. This allows the sound to adapt to the room and significantly improves the accuracy of monitoring. Built-in filters and phase adjustment (0–180°) give additional control over the sound.
Connectivity includes XLR and a combined XLR/TRS input, ensuring compatibility with professional audio equipment. A USB port allows for control and adjustment of DSP functions.
It is important to note that the model does not have wireless connectivity and is intended for studio use. However, it offers an extremely high level of precision and control, making it an excellent choice for professional sound work.
