The ASUS ProArt PA248CNV is a 24.1-inch professional monitor with WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and a 16:10 aspect ratio, which provides more vertical space for working compared to standard 16:9 displays. This makes it particularly suitable for programming, document processing, graphic design and multitasking. The IPS panel offers wide viewing angles (178°) and stable color reproduction, and 100% sRGB coverage ensures reliability when working with web content and visual projects. The monitor is factory-calibrated with △E<2 accuracy, ensuring high color accuracy right out of the box.
The 300 nits of brightness is sufficient for comfortable work in various lighting environments, and the anti-reflective coating reduces glare. The 1000:1 contrast ratio and 5 ms (GtG) response time provide a stable and balanced image. The 75 Hz refresh rate, combined with Adaptive-Sync, provides a smoother visual experience compared to standard 60 Hz monitors. HDR10 support is available, but due to the limited brightness and 8-bit panel, the HDR effect is rather basic and not intended for professional HDR processing.
Connectivity is one of the key strengths of this model. The USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 90W of power delivery, allowing simultaneous video, data, and power delivery over a single cable – ideal for laptops. There are two DisplayPort 1.2 with Daisy Chain capability for connecting multiple monitors, an HDMI 1.4 input, and four USB-A ports for peripherals. Additionally, the built-in RJ45 Ethernet port allows for direct network connectivity through the monitor, which is extremely convenient for workstations.
The ergonomic design offers full flexibility – height adjustment, tilt, swivel and rotation in portrait mode. This allows for optimal positioning according to the user's needs. VESA mounting support (100 x 100 mm) facilitates integration into various configurations. Built-in speakers (2 x 2 W) are suitable for basic audio.
It's important to note that the monitor uses an 8-bit panel and isn't aimed at high-end color processing or HDR production. However, the combination of a 16:10 format, USB-C with 90W power delivery, and rich connectivity makes it an extremely practical solution for professional and office use.
