The ASUS ProArt PA279CRV monitor is a 27-inch professional monitor with 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), IPS panel and extremely accurate color reproduction, designed for content creators, photographers and video editors. The model supports 10-bit color (1.07 billion colors), 100% sRGB, 99% Adobe RGB and 99% DCI-P3, which ensures maximum accuracy when working with images and videos. Brightness reaches 400 nits in HDR mode with HDR10 support, and the standard value of 350 nits ensures comfortable work in various conditions. An anti-reflective coating reduces glare, making the display suitable for prolonged use.
The monitor uses IPS technology with wide viewing angles of 178° both horizontally and vertically, maintaining color consistency from any position. The contrast ratio of 1000:1 and the response time of 5 ms (GtG) make it a balanced solution for both professional work and multimedia use. The refresh rate is 60 Hz and the support of Adaptive-Sync contributes to a smoother visual experience, although the model is not aimed at gaming.
Connectivity is one of the main advantages of this model. There are DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, as well as a USB-C port with video signal support and power delivery up to 96 W, which allows direct connection and charging of laptops via a single cable. Additionally, there are USB-A ports for peripherals and a second USB-C port for power only. The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) functions allow working with multiple sources at the same time, which is especially useful when multitasking.
The ergonomic design offers full flexibility – height adjustment, tilt, swivel and rotation in portrait mode. VESA mounting support (100 x 100 mm) facilitates integration into various workspaces. The built-in speakers (2 x 2 W) are suitable for basic use, but do not replace an external audio system for professional needs. Low power consumption and a compact profile complement the overall efficiency of the model.
It is important to note that the monitor does not have a touchscreen and is not optimized for high-end gaming, but on the other hand, it offers exceptional color accuracy and reliability for professional applications.
