Description
The Genelec 8341A studio monitor is a high-end active studio monitor from the SAM series, designed for professional audio production, mixing and mastering. The model uses a three-way coaxial design, combined with two low-frequency drivers, which provides an extremely accurate sound image and uniform sound distribution. The system with a total power of 550 W and a maximum sound pressure of 110 dB allows work in both the near and midfield without compromising on dynamics.
At the heart of the model is a coaxial midrange and tweeter driver that provides precise phase alignment and a stable stereo stage. This allows for more accurate positioning of sound elements and better perception of details in the mix. The 3.5-inch midrange speaker and 3/4-inch tweeter work together to provide clear midrange and detailed high frequencies.
The low-frequency range is supported by two 6.5-inch drivers that provide deep and controlled bass. The design allows for an extended frequency range of 38 Hz to 37 kHz, which allows for detailed reproduction of both low and high frequencies.
The cabinet is designed with attention to acoustics and diffraction minimization, which improves sound accuracy. The compact dimensions allow use in studios with limited space, while maintaining a high level of acoustic performance.
