The Sigma 15mm f/1.4 DC II C is a fast wide-angle lens designed specifically for APS-C mirrorless cameras with Fujifilm X-mount. With a focal length of 15mm (equivalent to 22.5mm in 35mm format) and a large maximum aperture of f/1.4, this lens offers excellent low-light capabilities, as well as for creating shots with beautiful depth of field control. The compact body weighing approximately 220g makes it convenient for everyday photography, travel, vlogging and video.
The wide 86.9° angle of view allows for capturing expansive scenes such as landscapes, cityscapes, interiors or group shots. Thanks to the large f/1.4 aperture, the lens provides excellent light sensitivity and allows for operation at lower ISO values even in dark conditions. This makes it suitable for both night photography and astrophotography, as well as video content.
The optical construction includes 13 elements in 11 groups, designed to achieve high resolution and contrast across the entire frame. The combination of advanced optical elements reduces aberrations and ensures clear, detailed images even at wide apertures.
The lens uses an autofocus system that provides fast and accurate focusing for both stills and video. This makes it convenient for dynamic scenes, street photography and video content creation. The minimum focusing distance of 17.7 cm allows for close-up shooting of subjects, which creates an interesting perspective in wide-angle shots. The maximum magnification of 0.12× (1:7.9) further expands the creative possibilities when shooting details.
The nine rounded diaphragm blades contribute to soft and natural bokeh, which gives a smoother separation of the subject from the background in closer shots.
With a compact 64 × 64.8 mm size and a standard 58 mm filter thread, this lens is easy to combine with ND, CPL or other photographic filters. The lightweight construction and balanced design make it comfortable to use both handheld and when used with stabilizers or video rigs.
