The PGYTECH MantisPod 2.0 With Head Moon (white) is a compact and multifunctional mini tripod designed for vlogging, mobile photography and videography, which can be used both as a desktop tripod and as an ergonomic handle for handheld shooting. The model includes a ball head with 360° rotation and up to 120° tilt, an Arca-type quick plate with a standard 1/4"-20 thread, as well as a rotating cold shoe mount for accessories such as a microphone or LED lighting. The structure supports a load of up to 2 kg, reaches a maximum height of about 21 cm, and the compact design allows for easy transportation and quick switching between different shooting modes.
Designed for content creators, the MantisPod 2.0 offers multiple modes of operation that allow for flexibility in a variety of shooting situations. In standard mode, it functions as a three-legged tabletop tripod, suitable for video shooting, streaming, or video chatting. When the legs are folded, the tripod can be used as a convenient handgrip for shooting on the go.
One of the standout features of the series is the so-called Mantis mode, which allows the tripod to be attached to various surfaces via the special shape of the legs. This allows positioning on fences, railings or other objects and allows for more creative shooting angles.
The ball head allows for 360° panning and 120° tilt, making it easy to position the camera and switch between portrait and landscape modes. This is especially useful when creating content for social media, where different frame formats are often used.
The Arca-type quick-mount system allows for quick attachment and release of the camera or smartphone adapter. This simplifies the workflow and allows for faster equipment changes.
The construction is made of strong polymer materials, which provide good resistance at a relatively low weight. The tripod has a maximum working height of about 21 cm, a minimum of about 13 cm, and in the folded position the length is approximately 19.5 cm. With a weight of about 312 g, it remains convenient for everyday carrying and traveling.
