The Atomos Shogun AV-19 is a professional 19-inch 4K HDR monitor, recorder and switcher, designed for studio productions, live events and high-end video environments where a large screen, precise control and flexible connectivity are required. With an IPS LCD panel and UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160, the device offers a detailed image with 1200 nits of brightness, 10-bit color depth (1.07 billion colors) and HDR support via Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). Color coverage reaches 100% Rec.709, 99% DCI-P3, 87% Rec.2020 and 99% NTSC, making it suitable for color correction and critical monitoring.
The monitor features a 19" IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a brightness of up to 1200 nits, which allows comfortable work both in the control room and on the set. It supports 10-bit color depth (1.07 billion colors) and HDR via Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). Color coverage reaches 100% Rec.709 and 99% DCI-P3, making it suitable for precise monitoring and color evaluation. The touch screen provides quick access to professional tools such as waveform, vectorscope, RGB parade, zebra, focus peaking, false color and anamorphic de-squeeze, as well as Real-Time LUT support.
The Shogun AV-19 supports recording up to 5.7K at 30fps and DCI/UHD 4K at up to 60p, as well as Full HD formats. Recording is done on a CFexpress Type B card and includes professional codecs such as Apple ProRes (422, HQ, LT, LB, SQ, RAW) and Avid DNxHD/DNxHR. Up to 12 audio channels are supported, and the system offers Pre-Roll recording (2 seconds in 4K and 8 seconds in Full HD), which is especially useful for fast-paced productions.
Connectivity includes 2x 12G-SDI and 2x 3G-SDI inputs, HDMI 2.0 input and output, and 12G-SDI output. Bidirectional HDMI↔SDI conversion is available, allowing flexible integration into various configurations. NDI I/O is supported via an RJ45 port for IP-based workflows. Additionally, LTC timecode input and LANC control are available for synchronization and management.
Audio capabilities include 2x XLR Mic/Line inputs, 2x XLR Monitor/Line outputs and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Power is supplied via a 4-pin XLR input (12–16.8V DC), with a power consumption of 75W. The housing is made of aluminum and plastic, with dimensions of 482 x 310 x 60 mm and a weight of 5.22 kg, making it suitable for rack or mobile studio solutions.
