Description
The Hohem iSteady M7 video stabilization system is a 3-axis smartphone gimbal designed for stabilized mobile video shooting with advanced smart features. It supports phones with a width of 58 to 90 mm and a thickness of up to 12.5 mm, with a maximum load of up to 500 g, which allows the use of larger models with additional accessories. The stabilization works on all three axes with a wide range of motion and is complemented by a variety of modes such as Pan Follow, Pan & Tilt Follow, POV, Lock, Sport and Ultra-wide, as well as functions for panoramas and motion timelapse. The built-in 193 mm long extendable rod expands the possibilities for non-standard angles and selfie shots.
Stabilization and operating modes
The stabilizer uses powerful motors and a 3-axis structure that compensates for pan, tilt and roll movements. The range of movement reaches 360° Pan, 45° Roll and Tilt from -50° to 275°, allowing for smooth transitions and natural movements during dynamic shooting. The sports mode is optimized for faster movements, while the locked mode maintains a fixed frame for static scenes and interviews.
AI tracking and gesture control
Hohem iSteady M7 has a separate AI module for automatic tracking, which works independently of applications and the phone's camera. The 2 MP sensor allows for gesture recognition from a distance of 0.5 to 5 m and stable tracking of an object up to about 7 m. This makes the gimbal particularly suitable for solo shooting, presentations and vlogs, where the operator is not behind the camera.
Lighting and remote control
The AI module includes a 2W magnetic LED light that offers both CCT mode from 2700K to 6500K and RGB lighting with 360 colors. This allows you to adapt to different lighting conditions or add a creative accent. The detachable remote control features a 1.4-inch color touch display, provides real-time preview and parameter control, with a range of up to 10 m.
Battery and autonomy
The gimbal is equipped with a built-in 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3200 mAh (23.04 Wh), which provides up to about 12 hours of operation under balanced and static use. The full charge time is approximately 3 hours, and the energy-efficient design allows for long shooting sessions without frequent interruptions.
Practicality and expandability
The body is made of high-quality composite material, which combines low weight (361 g) with good durability. The gimbal has three 1/4"-20 threads for mounting accessories such as microphones, additional lighting or a tripod. The built-in motor protection mechanism automatically turns off the device in case of improper use, which increases reliability in operation.
