Description
The Peak Design Pro Leveling Base is a high-precision accessory designed to provide quick and accurate camera leveling when working with Peak Design Pro series tripods. Designed for the Pro, Pro Lite, and Pro Tall models, it eliminates the need for adjustments to the tripod legs and allows for instant leveling even on uneven terrain. This makes it an especially valuable tool for videography, panoramic photography, and any situation where the horizon needs to be absolutely precise.
It uses a spherical leveling system (bowl) at its core, controlled by a wide adjustment ring, which allows for quick and smooth adjustment with minimal effort. Up to 20° tilt in all directions gives freedom for fine positioning of the camera, while maintaining the stability of the system. This significantly speeds up the workflow, especially with frequent position changes.
The top is equipped with a standard 3/8"-16 thread, allowing use with various tripod heads and gimbals. For additional security, three locking screws are integrated, which prevent unwanted loosening and ensure stable attachment even with heavier configurations.
The Leveling Base can be used with or without a center column, providing additional flexibility depending on the needs of your shooting setup. The bottom section uses Peak Design's proprietary mounting system, providing a stable and secure connection to compatible tripods.
Made of aluminum, the accessory offers excellent strength and durability at a relatively low weight. With a load capacity of up to 18.1 kg, it is suitable for professional cameras, heavy lenses and complex rig configurations.
It is important to note that this leveling base is designed specifically for the Peak Design Pro series and is not a universal solution for other tripods.
