The Peak Design Pro Tripod Lite is a professional carbon fiber tripod designed for photographers and videographers looking for the ultimate in stability, flexibility, and portability in one solution. It combines a lightweight yet highly durable carbon fiber construction with a smart mechanical design that adapts to heavy cameras, heavy lenses, and a variety of shooting situations from studio to field.
With a load capacity of up to 15.9 kg, this tripod comfortably supports heavy DSLRs and mirrorless systems combined with large telephoto lenses, studio flashes or accessories without losing stability. With a maximum working height of 162.5 cm (with the center column raised) and 133.2 cm without it, the Peak Design Pro Tripod offers a wide range of work for both everyday shots and professional sessions. At the same time, the minimum height of just 16 cm allows for low perspectives and close-to-the-ground compositions.
When folded, the tripod is only 48.8 cm long, making it convenient for travel, backpacking or airline luggage. Weighing 1.7 kg, it remains both sturdy and portable, and is extremely suitable for working on location.
The carbon legs are made of high-quality materials for maximum strength and vibration resistance, which reduces resonances during shooting. Each of the four leg sections is fixed with intuitive flip locks that allow for quick extension and retraction, even in cold or wet conditions, without the need for tools.
The Peak Design Pro Tripod features independent leg extension, allowing it to adapt to uneven surfaces. This is especially useful when working outdoors, where the terrain can be uneven or sloping.
The built-in ball head is designed with an Arca-type quick-release plate with a 1/4″-20 screw, which is compatible with most L-brackets and standard mounts. This makes it easy to quickly attach and remove the camera, without wasting time. The head features independent pan and tilt locks, which provide precise control when framing, in both horizontal and vertical modes (90°). This functionality is valuable in portrait, product and landscape photography, as well as in video, where asymmetric balancing requires quick transitions between formats.
The center column can be used when additional height is needed above the base value. The built-in level helps to precisely align the tripod, which is extremely useful for architectural or landscape photography where the horizon level is critical.
