Description
The Aputure Electro Storm CS15 is a high-performance professional RGB LED directional light designed for large-scale film and television productions, commercial sets, and high-end studio projects where maximum light output, precise color control, and reliable operation in harsh conditions are required. With a power consumption of up to 2200 W and a nominal power of 1500 W, the CS15 provides an extremely strong luminous flux, reaching 293,400 lux at a distance of 1 meter at 5600K with the included reflector, which positions it among the most powerful LED solutions in its class.
The lighting covers a wide range of color temperatures from 2000K to 10,000K and offers RGB, Daylight and Tungsten modes, allowing flexible adaptation to different shooting scenarios – from warm interior atmospheres to cool daylight or creative color effects. The color rendering is at an extremely high level with CRI 98, TLCI 98, CQS 97, TM-30 Rf 93 and TM-30 Rg 101, as well as SSI 86 at 5600K and SSI 89 at 3200K. This ensures natural skin tones and accurate color reproduction in professional productions.
The CS15 offers smooth dimming from 0.1% to 100%, providing precise control over intensity without abrupt transitions. Control can be done via the included controller, DMX/RDM interface, Bluetooth or wirelessly via CRMX, with a range of up to 100 meters. The light is compatible with the Sidus Link mobile app (Android and iOS), which allows remote control and synchronization with other devices in the Aputure ecosystem.
The housing is IP65 rated, meaning it is dust and splash resistant, making it suitable for outdoor shooting. Cooling is provided by an active fan system that maintains stable operation under continuous load. The front mount includes a standard Bowens S mount, as well as its own proprietary interface, which ensures compatibility with a wide range of light modifiers.
Power is provided by an external controller and AC input (100–240V, 50/60 Hz) or 48V DC, with the option of using a battery station (not included). Mounting is via a manually adjustable yoke with a 1-1/8" Junior pin, suitable for heavy lighting stands. Measuring 45.7 x 35.2 x 28.1 cm (without yoke) and weighing 18 kg for the body, the Electro Storm CS15 is a solid professional solution designed for serious production environments where power, reliability and color accuracy are key.
