Description
The Datacolor ColorReader CR100 accessory is a compact and extremely easy-to-use tool for measuring and identifying colors in a real environment. Designed for designers, interior designers, architects, paint retailers and creative professionals, it allows for quick surface scanning and color comparison directly via a mobile app. The device uses a proprietary measurement geometry and six high-quality white LEDs as a light source, ensuring stable and repeatable results under various conditions.
The CR100 works with a D65 illuminant and a 10° observer, making it suitable for standardized color comparisons. Thanks to the 6 mm aperture, the measurement is precise even on smaller color areas. The data is transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy to the mobile app, where color values can be compared, closest matches can be searched in libraries, and projects can be saved.
The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery provides over 300 measurements on a single charge, making the device suitable for intensive daily use in the field. The compact dimensions (only 29.1 x 68.8 mm) and weight of only 45 g allow it to be conveniently carried in a pocket or work bag.
The CR100 is optimized for operation in a temperature range of 5°C to 40°C and up to 95% relative humidity, making it a reliable tool for both studio and mobile use. Multiple languages are supported via the mobile app, making international work easy.
