The Kupo 485M Heavy Duty Wind-Up Low Base Steel Tripod is a professional heavy-duty tripod with a built-in wind-up (crank) system and integrated wheels, designed for safe operation with extremely heavy lighting and grip equipment. The model is created for studio, television and film productions, where precise lifting, maximum stability and control under heavy loads are required.
The tripod uses a wind-up crank mechanism that allows for smooth and controlled lifting of equipment weighing up to 79.97 kg, without jerking or risk to the technician or operator. The working height ranges from 140.5 cm to 269.2 cm, making it suitable for low and medium-height lighting configurations, including heavy spotlights, flags, frames and boom systems.
The upper part is equipped with a 1-1/8" junior pin receiver, ensuring secure compatibility with professional lighting fixtures and C-stand accessories. The construction includes two massive sections with a sturdy steel column and a wide base with a diameter of over 130 cm, which guarantees stability even under maximum load.
KUPO 485M features built-in wheels for easy movement in the studio environment, as well as a leveling leg that allows for secure leveling on uneven floors. The housing is made of black and chrome-plated steel, designed for long-term intensive use.
