Description
The Aputure Storm 1200X is a high-performance COB LED monolight designed for professional film and television productions, offering a wide color temperature range from 2500K to 10,000K and two standard lighting modes, Daylight and Tungsten. The light provides extremely high light intensity both without a modifier and with the included 45° reflector, allowing flexible light modeling for different scenes and installation conditions. The combination of CRI 95, TLCI 95 and SSI 87 guarantees accurate color reproduction.
Storm 1200X is controlled via Sidus Link Pro app, Bluetooth and CRMX (TimoTwo) wireless interfaces, as well as via the included controller and DMX/RDM protocol. The dimming system allows smooth adjustment from 0.1% to 100%, providing precise control over the illumination. The built-in active cooling maintains stable operation under maximum loads, and the robust housing and water resistance (IP65) make the device suitable for operation in outdoor conditions.
With the included Yoko-Mount allowing for mounting to a wide variety of tripods and C-Stands, the Storm 1200X is also compatible with a wide range of tripod modifiers and accessories via the Bowens S mount, including softboxes, grids and fresnels. Its high light output reaches 202,500 Lux at 5600K with a 45° reflector at a distance of 1m, allowing for light shaping for large scenes or high-speed footage. The light features built-in effects that make it easy to create special lighting scenes and effects for film productions.
The kit consists of a light, controller/power supply, reflector and transport case, making it easy to integrate and transport on set. The light supports operation in temperatures from -20°C to 45°C and storage down to -40°C, ensuring reliability in various climatic conditions.
The Aputure Storm 1200X combines power, color accuracy, stability, and flexibility, giving operators complete control over light and the ability to realize their creative ideas even in the most demanding on-set conditions.
