Description
The Viltrox AF 33mm f/1.4 XF lens is a prime lens with a normal focal length designed for Fujifilm X-mount cameras with APS-C sensors. It offers an equivalent focal length of approximately 50mm on a full-frame camera, making it an excellent choice for portraits, street photography, reportage and working in lower light. The f/1.4 aperture allows for beautiful bokeh and well-controlled depth of field, while the metal construction and advanced optical elements ensure quality and reliability.
Bright aperture for low light and artistic bokeh
The maximum aperture of f/1.4 allows for low-light shooting without the need for high ISO values or slow shutter speeds. When wide open, the lens separates the subject from the background with a smoothly defocused background, adding character and depth to the frame.
Optical design for high sharpness and color accuracy
The optical design includes 10 elements in 9 groups, including an ED element and an HR (high refractive index) element. This combination reduces chromatic aberrations and distortions, improves contrast, and provides better performance at the edges of the frame. The surfaces of the elements are coated with HD Nano multi-layer coating to reduce flare and the effect of strong light behind the subject.
Autofocus and controls suitable for video and photos
The lens uses an STM stepping motor for autofocus, which is quiet and fast enough for most situations. The aperture ring has an “A” mode for automatic setting and also provides manual control, with switching between values being smooth and without “clicks” during video work.
Ergonomics and aesthetics
The body is made of metal and is extremely durable. The lens weighs about 270g and has a compact size that makes it convenient for everyday use.
