The RODECaster Video S professional video device is designed to combine the functions of a hardware switcher, graphics module, audio console and IP streaming in one compact body that can be used both in the studio and in mobile productions. It offers a serious set of tools for operators, streamers, producers, podcasters and teams that require stability, fast work and high visual precision. The main strength of the system is its ability to process multi-layer compositions through 9 M/E, which allows building complex scenes, combining multiple sources and adding effects without delay. The two available graphics channels, as well as the built-in chroma key, give freedom when working with green screens and virtual sets.
The color processing capability works in a wide range from 8-bit standard to professional 12-bit 4:4:4 signals. This is especially important for productions where color accuracy is key, such as commercial videos, interviews or higher-standard online broadcasts. The built-in 24 GB of graphics memory ensures smooth operation when adding heavy elements such as multi-graphics, logos, animated lower thirds or template designs.
Video inputs include three HDMI ports and one USB-C input for UVC devices, allowing the use of both professional cameras and compact digital cameras, computers or mobile sources. Support for 1080p60 ensures state-of-the-art picture quality and compatibility with most modern cameras. The output section is built around HDMI program broadcast, RJ45 network protocols and 4-view multiview monitoring, making it easy for operators to control footage in real time.
The audio system includes a nine-channel mixer, combined XLR/TRS inputs for professional microphones, and USB-C ports for digital sources. Operation at 48 kHz / 32-bit ensures clean sound with sufficient dynamics, which is important for podcasts, musical performances, and live events. Outputs via TRS or via HDMI/RJ45 provide flexibility for different configurations.
The device supports widely used streaming protocols, including NDI/HX2 and HX3, as well as RTMP/RTMPS, making it ready for direct broadcasting to platforms such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, and Twitch. Built-in Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 expand its wireless connectivity capabilities.
The system also allows local recording on external USB media, as well as using the built-in 24 GB memory for storing clips. Management is carried out via an integrated 2-inch display, which provides basic settings and visual control. The combination of software application and hardware buttons gives precise control over the production, regardless of whether you work alone or in a team.
