The Shure BLX288/SM58-K3E is a professional UHF wireless system with two SM58 handheld microphones, designed specifically for vocal performances, stage, events, karaoke, conferences and church services. It is a reliable solution for duets, presenters or performers who need a stable connection, clear sound and easy setup without complicated configurations.
The system operates in the analog UHF band (K3E: 542–572 MHz) and offers up to 123 selectable frequencies, which allows for quick channel selection and minimizes the risk of interference. Thanks to the QuickScan function, the receiver automatically finds the most suitable frequency for stable operation. Up to 12 compatible systems can operate simultaneously in one frequency band.
The set includes a two-channel BLX88 desktop receiver with internal antennas and two BLX2 handheld transmitters with interchangeable SM58 capsules. The SM58 is a legendary dynamic microphone with a cardioid polar pattern optimized for vocals - it provides clear, full sound and excellent isolation from background noise. The frequency response of 50 Hz - 15 kHz and high maximum SPL (up to 146 dB) make it suitable for both powerful vocals and speech.
The system offers a range of up to 91 meters in line of sight, making it suitable for medium to large stages. The dynamic range of 100 dB ensures natural sound without compression and loss of detail. Each transmitter operates on 2 AA batteries and provides up to 14 hours of autonomous operation.
The receiver features two XLR balanced outputs and two 1/4" unbalanced outputs, allowing flexible connection to mixers, PA systems, or powered speakers. The rugged ABS housing and proven Shure reliability make this kit a preferred choice for professionals.
