With a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a brightness of 1500 nits, the monitor provides a crystal-clear image even in direct sunlight. Pyro 5 supports dual-band transmission of 2.4 and 5 GHz with automatic switching, ensuring a stable connection without interference, with a range of up to 400 meters in open air. The device allows connecting up to four receivers simultaneously, making it suitable for professional video productions, directorial observations and remote frame tracking.
The Hollyland Pyro 5 is designed for dynamic work on set. The 5.5-inch touch-sensitive LCD display offers a bright and detailed picture with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of approximately 400 ppi. The monitor allows for HDMI 1.4b and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, including loop-through, which facilitates integration with various professional cameras and studio systems. In addition to monitoring, the device supports direct recording to an SD card, which allows for archiving footage and creating proxy files for post-processing.
Wireless transmission is intelligently managed, with the monitor automatically switching between 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands to minimize interference and ensure a reliable connection. One transmitter can serve up to four receivers simultaneously, and capsule antennas ensure signal stability and quality. Pyro 5 offers RTMP streaming support and mobile app integration, allowing for easy sharing of real-time footage and remote camera control.
The monitor is compact and lightweight, measuring 17.5 × 14.7 × 2.8 cm and weighing 0.69 kg, making it convenient for mounting on tripods, camera frames or handheld use in dynamic scenes. The display is protected and scratch-resistant, ensuring long-lasting operation even during intensive outdoor work.
