Description
The Atomos TX is a high-quality wireless transmitter designed for professional videographers, camera assistants and directors looking for a stable and reliable video signal transmission without cables. The device provides video transmission with resolutions up to 4K at 30 frames per second over HDMI and 1080p at 60 frames per second over SDI, maintaining crystal clear images and minimal compression. With a range of up to 300 meters in direct line of sight, the Atomos TX provides exceptional freedom of movement during filming, without compromising on signal quality and timing.
Designed to work as part of an integrated system with Atomos RX, the transmitter allows multiple receivers to be connected simultaneously, providing shared monitoring between the director, operator and focus puller. This flexibility makes the system ideal for expanding existing configurations with Shinobi 7 RX or other Atomos RX receivers, thus allowing for easy scaling of wireless video streaming in larger productions. The 5GHz Wi-Fi transmission technology provides a stable signal with latency below 60ms, ensuring smooth real-time operation.
The Atomos TX is constructed from an aluminum alloy, combining low weight with high durability. The housing features a 1/4-inch mounting screw, suitable for frames, rigs and stabilizers. HDMI and SDI inputs, along with an HDMI loop-through output, allow for easy integration into existing workflows. The transmitter can be powered by NP-F batteries, USB-C PD or 9–16V DC input, making it suitable for long shooting days and various types of productions.
