The 7Artisans 10mm f/2.8 Mark II manual focus fisheye lens is designed for mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensors. With a 185° angle of view, it delivers a dramatic perspective and distinctive artistic effect that is suitable for landscapes, architecture, interiors and astrophotography. This is the second, improved version of the model, offering improved optical design, better ergonomics and new practical operating conveniences.
The lens combines a wide angle of view with a compact design and a solidly built metal body. The f/2.8 aperture makes it a reliable choice for low-light photography and astrophotography, where light is crucial.
The optical design consists of 11 elements in 8 groups, including one aspherical and two ultra-low dispersion elements. This combination reduces chromatic aberrations, improves contrast and ensures higher sharpness across the entire frame, even at the edges of the image, where fisheye lenses usually perform poorly. The diaphragm is constructed with ten blades, which contribute to a smooth bokeh effect and allow the creation of beautiful star-shaped highlights at narrower stops.
The minimum focusing distance of 15 cm allows for close-ups to be combined with a wide background, allowing for creative and experimental shots. The aperture ring is stepless, making it particularly valuable for video shooting, as it allows for smooth changes in exposure.
The body is strong and durable, made entirely of metal, which guarantees durability and safety under intensive use. The dimensions are approximately 75 mm in diameter and 95 mm in length, and the weight is about 600 grams. This makes the lens compact enough for everyday use, while offering stability when shooting from a tripod or rig system.
