Description

The Viltrox DC-550 Pro 5.25'' 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor is a compact 5.5-inch external monitor with touchscreen control, designed for videographers and content creators looking for a bright and functional display for field work. With a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a peak brightness of 1200 nits, the monitor provides excellent visibility even in strong outdoor light, making it suitable for outdoor shooting.

The panel is a 16:9 TFT LCD with a touch-sensitive screen, allowing quick access to menus and functions. Although it does not support HDR or LUT visualization, the DC-550 Pro offers a wide range of professional monitoring tools such as False Color, Focus Peaking, Histogram, Waveform, RGB Parade, Pixel-to-Pixel Zoom, Image Flip and color temperature selection.

The monitor accepts HDMI signals up to DCI 4K and UHD 4K at 24/25/30 fps and 1080p resolutions via HDMI 1.4 input, and also features an HDMI 1.4 output for loop-through signal. The built-in SD slot is used to load LUT files (no built-in real-time LUT support). Audio is transmitted via HDMI, and the presence of a 3.5 mm headphone jack allows for real-time monitoring.

Power can be supplied via an L-Series (NP-F) battery, DC input (12–18V / 2A) or USB-C (5V / 3A), providing flexibility for different shooting configurations. The body is made of aluminum for better durability and cooling.

Measuring 16.5 x 9.1 x 2.9 cm and weighing 280 g, the DC-550 Pro is lightweight and easy to integrate into a camera via a 1/4"-20 thread (bottom and side position). The monitor does not have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or a mobile app.
