The Tilta Pocket Follow Focus accessory is a compact, lightweight and extremely practical mechanical follow focus, created for camera operators and video creators looking for precise focus control in mobile and cinematic configurations. Designed with a focus on efficiency, reliability and versatility, this model is an excellent choice for both mirrorless and DSLR systems, as well as smaller cinema cameras mounted on 15 mm LWS rigs.
The unit mounts directly onto a single 15 mm rod via a sliding mechanism, allowing for quick positioning and easy adjustment to the lens. The included 0.8 MOD gear ensures compatibility with most cinema and photo lenses equipped with focus gear rings. This makes it suitable for use in both solo configurations and more complex setups with an operator and focus puller.
One of the key features of the Tilta Pocket Follow Focus is the presence of built-in mechanical hard stops, which allow for precise focus travel. This is especially useful for repetitive focus movements, interviews, narrative scenes and precise subject tracking. Additionally, the included removable marking disk allows for clear focus point marking, making it easier to work with dynamic scenes and complex focus transitions.
