Description
The PolarPro PM VND 6–9 Stop Edition II filter is a variable filter with the ability to smoothly reduce the light passing through it from 6 to 9 stops for maximum control over depth of field, frame rate, etc.
The filter is made of CinemaSeries glass with high optical clarity, which preserves color balance and image sharpness. The multi-layer surface coating provides protection against scratches, glare and dirt, which is especially important when working outdoors. The adjustment mechanism has physical stops that prevent unwanted rotation outside the permissible range, thus eliminating the risk of "X-polarization" or uneven darkening. The filter works without visible artifacts up to 16 mm focal length, making it compatible with wider-angle lenses.
The frame is made of lightweight yet durable aluminum, allowing for easy and stable handling even when working with gloves or in difficult conditions. The outer edge is textured for a secure grip when adjusting. The included Defender360 cover not only serves as protection during transport, but can also be attached when the filter is mounted on the lens, without the need to remove it.
