The biggest technological step forward in the X-E5 is the introduction of the 40.2-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor – the same one used in the latest flagship X series cameras. It delivers incredible levels of detail, excellent cropping behavior and the ability to use a 1.4x and 2x digital teleconverter without significant loss of quality. Together with the new X-Processor 5, the camera offers faster operation, better color processing and effective noise control in low light.
