The Tilta FX3/FX30 V2 Cage features multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 threads and ARRI-standard 3/8"-16 threads that allow for secure mounting of monitors, microphones, wireless systems, magic arms, and other professional accessories. The built-in Arca-type quick-release plate makes it easy to switch between handheld rigs, tripods, and gimbals without the need for additional adapters.
The cage features a NATO rail on the side that allows for quick attachment and removal of side handles, including power handles and run/stop controllers. This makes the system extremely flexible and suitable for both solo operators and larger production teams. The top has an integrated cold shoe mounting point for flashes, LED lights or shotgun microphones.
Special attention has been paid to cable protection – the included HDMI cable clamp ensures a secure hold of the HDMI connector, preventing it from being accidentally pulled out or damaged during movement. This is key when recording externally, live streaming or working with on-camera monitors and recorders.
