Description

The high-quality NiSi ATHENA PRIME 35mm T1.9 cinema lens is designed to work with full-frame sensors and equipped with a Sony E (FE) mount, compatible with professional cinema cameras. The lens design is aimed at creating extremely wide shots with a high degree of detail and minimal optical aberrations.

  • Optically advanced construction with soft bokeh, high micro-contrast and minimal chromatic aberration for distortion-free cinematic images.
  • Built-in Drop In system for threaded filters, providing compactness and functionality in professional configurations without the need for a front filter system.
  • Precise mechanical focus with 300° travel and standard 0.8 MOD gear rings, compatible with all major follow focus systems, with fluorescent markings for low-light operation.


With a 46mm circular aperture and a maximum aperture of T1.9, the lens allows effective control over depth of field, maintains optimal image quality in low light, and provides a smooth transition between sharp and soft-focus areas. The visual result is characterized by soft bokeh, micro-contrast clarity, and low chromatic aberration.

The NiSi ATHENA PRIME 35mm is equipped with a Drop In filter system, which allows the filter to be placed between the camera sensor at the back of the lens barrel. This solution for placing the filter close to the sensor minimizes the risk of vignetting and helps to more effectively manage exposure and color correction, without adding bulk or weight to the front of the camera.
