The Datacolor LightColor Meter is a professional multimeter measuring CCT, Delta UV, Lux, natural light and flash, designed for photographers, videographers and filmmakers who value complete precision in light and white balance settings. The LightColor Meter offers real-time incident measurements by connecting to your smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0 LE.
With it, you can measure illuminance (Lux), color temperature (CCT from 1600 to 20,000K), color deviation (Delta uv) and chromaticity with high accuracy. It supports continuous measurement mode, suitable for dynamic work.
Thanks to multi-meter synchronization (up to 25 m distance), the device is fully ready to control complex multi-point lighting schemes. The meter supports a variety of exposure modes for photo, video and cinema, including aperture setting (f/0.5 to f/144), ISO (from 3 to 409,600), shutter speed (from 1/64000 to 30 seconds), as well as ND filters and HSS metering.
With a built-in library of gels from Profoto, LEE and Rosco, color matching is now a matter of seconds, without the need for swatches or additional equipment. Magnetic mounting, 1/4”-20 thread, clip and connection hole provide multiple positioning options. The durable housing and up to 40 hours of operation on 2 AAA batteries make it ideal for any production environment.
