The Panasonic HC-X1600 compact camcorder is equipped with a 1/2.5" 8.29-megapixel MOS sensor and Venus processor and HDMI output.
It offers a host of professional features, such as two manual adjustment rings, an ND filter and high-resolution 24-bit Linear PCM audio recording. In terms of video recording, the HC-X1600 supports 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording at 4K at up to 30fps with 5-axis image stabilization (OIS), as well as the new high-efficiency HEVC codec, and built-in Wi-Fi supports HD Live Streaming.
The lens provides a 24x optical zoom from 25mm to 600mm (35mm equivalent). The 4-Drive Lens System operates four independent lens groups to achieve the 24x optical zoom in an extremely compact body. The LEICA Dicomar lens meets Leica's stringent standards for resolution, contrast, etc. Two manual adjustment rings are provided, one for focusing and the other for adjusting zoom and iris. The manual adjustment rings have different sizes, so the desired ring can be operated flawlessly with just a touch of your fingers. ND filters can be selected from 1/4, 1/16, 1/64 and Clear.
The Panasonic HC-X1600's 3.5-inch foldable display has a high-resolution touchscreen and can transmit the image simultaneously with the adjustable viewfinder.
