Description
The PTZOptics JOY Gen4 controller is a professional PTZ controller designed for managing multi-camera configurations in studios, conference rooms, churches, educational institutions and streaming environments. The model allows control of up to 255 cameras via IP connection and up to 7 cameras via serial control, making it suitable for large-scale installations.
The controller supports a wide range of protocols, including IP, Pelco-D, Pelco-P, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 and VISCA, ensuring compatibility with a variety of PTZ cameras. Connectivity includes an RJ45 LAN port, a block output for RS-422/RS-485 and a 9-pin D-Sub connector for Pelco and VISCA communication.
JOY Gen4 features a precision joystick for Pan/Tilt/Zoom control, separate potentiometers for focus, iris and gain, and a multi-function control button. There are 7 camera selection buttons and 9 programmable buttons for customized functions, as well as the ability to preset up to 255 positions via IP.
The controller does not have a touch screen, which emphasizes its hardware, tactile control interface. Power can be supplied via 12V DC input or PoE (802.3af), with a low consumption of 6 W, which facilitates integration into network environments.
Measuring 303.23 x 234.95 x 107.95 mm and weighing 2.02 kg, the PTZOptics JOY Gen4 offers a stable desktop construction suitable for continuous professional use.
