- The URSA Cine 12K’s large sensor delivers exceptional image quality, offering 16 stops of dynamic range with a unique RGBW architecture for rich color and in-sensor scaling that allows for crop-free recording at all resolutions. The durable magnesium alloy body, carbon fiber skin, and ergonomic design make it ideal for fast-paced professional use.
Flexible Formats & Lens Compatibility
- The full-frame sensor allows for 4K, 8K or 12K shooting without cropping, with options for different aspect ratios, including anamorphic . It also features interchangeable mounts (PL, LPL, EF, Hasselblad), offering flexibility for any production and supports recording of lens metadata (focal length/aperture) .
Advanced Monitoring & Control
- Monitor with the built-in 5-inch HDR tilting touchscreen, auxiliary LCD and external color status display. The camera also provides remote control via standard connectors and offers a dedicated focus pull mode for precise focus adjustments.
Professional Connections & Storage
- URSA Cine features industry-standard connectivity options such as 12G-SDI, 10G Ethernet and XLR audio. It includes an 8TB Blackmagic Media Module for high-speed recording, and you can sync media to the Blackmagic Cloud for collaborative editing using DaVinci Resolve.
Built-in Streaming & Media Management
- Stream live directly from the camera via RTMP and SRT protocols, with mobile data, Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity. It also supports high-speed file transfer, allowing you to instantly transfer media to DaVinci Resolve for real-time editing.
Color Science & Post-Production Tools
- The camera uses Blackmagic Generation 5 Color Science for improved skin tones and color reproduction. Blackmagic RAW gives you high-quality files with 16 stops of dynamic range. URSA Cine includes DaVinci Resolve Studio, which provides a complete post-production package.
Power & Workflow Efficiency
- URSA Cine supports multiple power options, including 24V and 12V LEMO connectors, and includes a 250W power supply and B-mount battery adapter. The intuitive Blackmagic OS ensures a smooth workflow, and Bluetooth control allows remote control for dynamic shooting settings.
