The VALOI Advancer is the base on which the film is placed, it is designed to improve speed, stability, leveling and light quality. It supports all VALOI holders and allows the use of additional accessories, such as the VALOI Duster , making the scanning process faster and more precise.
The VALOI LightAdapter is a stable platform that holds the Cinestill CS-LITE light source. It attaches securely to the Advancer base and features rubber feet that allow for precise adjustment for better lighting and uniformity. This provides exceptional stability for your scans.
The Cinestill CS-LITE is a high-quality light source specifically designed for scanning 35mm and 120mm film with a digital camera. It has a high CRI (color rendering index), high light intensity and three settings optimized for different types of film.
6x4.5, 6x6 and 6x7 masks for 120mm film are included. The masks reduce additional light scattering when scanning smaller film formats (such as 6x4.5) in the 120mm holder, which improves contrast and creates a more dramatic effect, especially with older lenses.
The VALOI 35mm Holder is designed for standard 35mm film with a frame size of approximately 24x36mm and is optimized for maximum flatness and scanning quality. It is compatible with the Advancer, but can also be used on its own for fast scanning.
VALOI 360 120mm Film Holder is designed for 120mm film with frame sizes up to 6x9, but is also suitable for all smaller formats. It ensures maximum flatness and image quality. Just like the 35mm holder, it works and can be used alone.
The VALOI Duster is perhaps the most popular accessory in the VALOI 360 system. With its aluminum frame and anodized black matte finish, it helps reduce dust without generating static electricity. The kit includes two high-quality anti-static brushes with very fine bristles that guarantee they will not scratch the film.
The leveling mirror allows you to quickly and accurately check whether your film and camera sensor are perfectly parallel. This ensures square images with even focus across the entire image, which is key to achieving good results.
