The Canon RF-S 7.8mm f/4 STM Dua l stereoscopic lens is the third and most affordable model of the Canon RF Dual Lens line, designed for 3D 180° VR shooting with Canon EOS R series cameras with an APS-C sensor. Paired with a Canon EOS R7 camera and one of Canon's software VR solutions, the RF-S 7.8mm f/4 STM Dual enables the creation of impressive 3D results that can be fully experienced with Meta Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro and other compatibles devices.

The Canon RF-S 7.8mm f/4 STM Dual has been developed to work with Dual Pixel CMOS AF and in combination with the Dual STM autofocus motor that drives the left and right lenses in parallel gives you fast, quiet and precise autofocus. The lens also supports full manual focus, via a toggle button that lets you focus both lenses at the same time or just the left one.
In addition to the new addition to the EOS VR system, Canon also offers updated software solutions - the EOS VR Utility and the EOS VR Plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro - as well as a firmware version for the EOS R7 that has special functions for VR shooting, including an assistant for optimal framing Magic Window, also available in remote control mode with Canon Camera Connect and EOS Utility.
