The Canon RF 50mm f/1.4L VCM lens is a hybrid standard aperture model that includes a ring for manual iris control when shooting video. It is intended for mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensors and an RF mount.
The wide f/1.4 maximum aperture allows for low-light work, and the eleven diaphragm blades provide soft, cinematic bokeh.
The innovative VCM motor in combination with Nano USM guarantee extremely fast, precise and quiet autofocus.
The optical scheme includes two UD and two aspherical elements that minimize various aberrations, and the Air Sphere Coating (ASC) reduces halos and glare for maximum clarity, sharpness and contrast images.
The body is resistant to dust and moisture, and the fluorine coating on the front lens repels dirt and makes it easier to clean.
