Description
The Panasonic Lumix S5D is an updated version of the compact full-frame camera with excellent parameters for shooting stills and video.
Unlike the original model, the S5D is compatible with DJI Lidar AF, which allows it to be connected to the DJI RS 3 Pro autofocus module and gimbal to control the camera's autofocus via USB . In this way, the need for a separate focus motor is eliminated in many cases, and the speed of autofocus is greatly increased, thanks to the 43,200 measurement points of the Lidar module, even in low light conditions.
This functionality on the Panasonic Lumix S5D is in the spirit of the announced close collaboration between Panasonic and DJI and is available on other Lumix cameras GH5 II, GH6, S1H, S5 II / X, G9 II, etc., but was not available to users of the original Panasonic S5 version.
Everything else Panasonic S5D inherits from the first version of the model - 10-bit internal recording of UHD 4K with up to 60 fps, Dual Native ISO, wide dynamic range of 14 steps, V-Log, RAW video via HDMI and five-axis stabilization of the image etc.
The model offers continuous shooting with up to 7 frames per second, a light sensitivity range of ISO 100-51200, as well as a High-Res Shot mode with 96-megapixel images.
The body of the Panasonic S5D is more compact than the Panasonic S1 series, but it is also moisture and dust resistant, and has two SD memory card slots. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are also available.
